Shruti and Leo’s Dance Party - San Diego Museum of Man Wedding

Leo and Shruti wedding celebration was so big, they took over the entire Museum of Man in San Diego. With seating on both the first and floors for their guests, this wedding was beautiful as it also recognized Shruti’s Indian culture.

Friends and family traveled in from all over the world for this night, which was actually the cap to a full week of celebrations as per Indian wedding tradition. But that didn’t slow anyone down, as a great dance party concluded the festivities.

Uplighting creates a dramatic effect on the high ceilings and exhibits at the Museum of Man in Balboa Park.

Price Philanthropies held its annual holiday at the Museum of Man, located in Balboa Park, on December 27, 2015. The party was attended by staff, supporters and current and former members of the organizations Aaron Price Fellows Program.

The program gives opportunities for San Diego area public high school students to learn about their community and develop leadership skills. 

The Museum of Man is both a unique and beautiful space to hold an event. With it’s concrete floors, high ceilings and towering exhibits, it’s a feast for both the ears and eyes. In fact, since I was playing an open format set of music, I slipped in a few acoustic tracks just to hear the sound of a raw voice filling up the entire front section of the facility.

Also, this space is made for uplighting and no event should go without it.
