My experience in the Hotel del Coronado Ballroom
For me, the Ballroom at the Del is San Diego’s version of Carnegie Hall. It has so much history and has hosted events for a list of worldwide dignitaries. I’d be lying if I said I do not get nervous before hosting an event in this room. But it’s such an amazing feeling to command a room of 200-400 people and guide them through an amazing evening of celebration.
The Del describes the room as an “elegant, featuring crystal chandeliers, tapestry draperies, built-in stage and panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean.” It’s a “wow” moment when guests walk into the room and I know that I play a major role in ensuring the success of the event.
Lastly, the round layout, dome shaped ceiling and columns provide the perfect opportunity for uplighting. I would recommend this add on to your package.
